Discover Sailing Day
Discover Sailing Days are offered for FREE at many sailing clubs around Australia. They are a fantastic way to have a great day out with your partner, family, friends or work colleagues. Clubs look forward to showing you just how fun, safe, accessible, and affordable sailing is.
GLYC’s 2018 Discover Sailing Day is being held on Sunday 28 October.
A number of our members will be available at the club and there will be opportunities to join them for a sail (weather pending). Please register your interest via the GLYC Discover Sailing Day registration link or contact our Discover Sailing Principal, Sharna Duff via firstname.lastname@example.org
Get Active Sailing
Get Active Sailing is an initiative developed in conjunction with VicHealth to get people more active through the sport of sailing. GLYC welcomes community groups and businesses (of all sizes) to come down to the Paynesville foreshore to experience how enjoyable sailing can be. Full day, half day or twilight sessions in both dinghies and keelboats can be tailored for your group. Contact out Discover Sailing Principal, Sharna Duff via email@example.com to discuss your specific needs.
Local community groups and business who have already taken advantage of the “Get Active Sailing” opportunity at GLYC include:
