GLYC is proud to host the following junior and youth coaching programs and events in season 2018/19:

Good Friday Raymond Island Sail

This season will be the sixth Good Friday Raymond Island Sail for our Junior and Youth Sailors. In a fleet of pacers, the Club’s young sailors circumnavigate Raymond Island. Leaving the club before 9am, the fleet will sail together for what is typically a 3-4 hour journey, whilst raising awareness and funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. To date over $17,500 has been raised by our junior and youth sailors. Save the date for Friday 19 April, for this season’s major event.

Victorian Youth Catamaran Program

Renowned cat coaches Greg Goodall and Gordon Hyde will return to GLYC to provide GLYC’s expanding fleet of catamaran sailors specialised coaching. Dates for season 2018/19 will be confirmed shortly.
